Barry Spiegelman
Barry started Beryl with brothers Paul and Mark in 1985. Only six months later, Barry was diagnosed with a low-grade brain tumor. After radiation treatments, it remained dormant until 2002. His doctors were able to slow the growth until May of 2005.
At Beryl, Barry's job was to build satisfaction and loyalty with both our clients and our co-workers. Our position in the market and our designation as a Great Place to Work demonstrates the positive impact Barry made to Beryl's culture.
In his final days, his childhood friends took him out to the golf course behind his house and watched him hit golf balls. There were smiles all around and none bigger than Barry's.
Barry lived life to its fullest, with a never-ending positive attitude and a zest for life that the rest of us can only wish for. To honor him, we would like to celebrate his life and raise money to increase brain cancer research for UCLA's program, Art of the Brain.
